It's a good bit better than the typical Unix/Linux application names....which are not only devoid of spaces, but devoid of any self-defining logic in the names most of the time.

It's funny, the one VAR name I would've expected to have no space actually has a space: Hawk Ridge Systems. eFax, NetApp, off the topic of my head. You got all the go ones I can think of. :)

The silly trend started with trademark law, then continued with spaces being a delimiter in most operating systems, then was sealed by the reality that it's a lot easier to search for "SolidWorks" on google than for "Solid Works."
Fortunately, Evan Yares is easy to find on google. I wonder if my parents planned it that way?
