Eric Clapton Autobiography
Last week, I finished the Eric Clapton Autobiography. Once I started, I couldn't put it down and I finished it in 2 1/2 days. I've been an Eric Clapton fan since his days in the Yardbirds, 1965. I highly recommend this book. What a lifestyle he lived in his early days! He turned his life around and now he's a happily married family man. His life is centered around his music, and he's learned to balance that with his family life. His story is fascinating.
Now, I'll crank up my iTunes and listen to Tales of Brave Ulysses; Disraeli Gears and then Badge; 24 Nights Live From Albert Hall.

Cool review. I agree that the book is a testament to the strength of change! Good for him! I posted a review of the book at http://isorski.blogspot.com/. I also just read Ronnie, by Ronnie Wood, which is also a quick read and is very good.

Hello Arleen-
Thanks for your comments. I just went to your blog and saw your remodel projects. I too have been doing this for the past few years. We've added a new kitchen, and a new bedroom/bathroom,and office, new paint, carpet... it never ends!

devon - i just finished it as well - it was a very good read. its not surprising that hes never really stuck in a band and been a solo act with supporting musicians his entire career. he seems to be somewhat of a loner and searching for something. as shown clearly by his life of women. ill be curious to read about his new family and if its still in tact a few years from now. the early party years sure were something...wow!

Hi Charles-
That sounds awesome! We don't watch any network TV and we don't have cable, dish, etc. so, I'll miss this.
